Back in 2001, we delivered a command-line application to HSBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad to calculate and track the adjustments to payments to the credit card merchants. The Payment Adjustment System (PAS) is one of the workhorses that quietly and reliably tracks the payments to credit card merchants.

PAS underwent an upgrade in February 2009 to cater for new credit card types.
